Whisky School 2018: Week 10

 

The final week of the biggest ever Springbank Whisky School saw us return to our usual varied mix  of nationalities having briefly strayed from this policy for last week’s all American affair.

Scott Tallon and Dean Berger from our US importer Pacific Edge, Rick Long from our New York wholesaler Winebow, Stephan Ehmke and Peter Greve from our German importer Hanseatische, Takahiro Sakamati and Yoshimi Wada from our Japanese importer Whisk-e and Sverker Ehn from the Swedish Whisky Federation, who was chosen to attend Whisky School by our Swedish importer Symposion.

Once again, the pupils were attentive and enthusiastic and it was a joy to have them working at our distillery. This has always been a theme of the Whisky School throughout the years but in 2018 this has been taken to new heights. We are forever grateful for the interest and desire that Springbank fans and supporters show in our distillery and our products and, without getting too far ahead of ourselves, we know this this will continue next year too.

Thank you to everyone who attended Whisky School in 2018, you are all welcome back anytime.

And last, but certainly not least, thank you to all the Springbank staff who help make the School what it is. Without your hard work and dedication to making whisky the way we always have we would have no Whisky School at all.
