I am planning to visit your distillery next year in june.
What is the best day to visit?
Is the distillery working in the weekend?
Is eaglesome closed on sundays?
Are already making plan when there are maltings??
I try to come 6 - 10 june to scotland and visit some distilleries like Bladnoch (where i went to a whiskyschool) and also to islay.
Do you have different kind of tours?
Lot of questions, hope you can answer..
kind regards
Bram

Hi Vitara,
Yes i know there is the islay festival, but i really like to visit several distilleries. Whem i visit Islay during the festival, i don't think we can have an extensive tour because it is a very busy time at the distilleries. I like talking to people who are working there and attention is less during the festival.
I will visit the Islay festival when have been to all the whisky makers on Islay.
Thanks for your reply.

Well, I went last week to Springbank, had a great tour by Jim. Also a great tasting by Ranald, Donald was very helpful at the shop. The Kilkerrans were impressive, specially the port wood which is very dark red for a 3 yo.
Hope to visit you again in another year.
Thanks again for the wonderful day I had in Campbeltown

I had a pleasant stay at the Rectory B&B. Right in the centre of Campbeltown. Use the links on this site and will find it. And I spent 1 full day (2 nights) in Campbeltown. To see only whisky this is enough. If you like to walk around 2 or 3 days will do. Please be aware of bigger travelling time in Scotland. Newcastle (where the ferry arrives) to Campbeltown took me 8 hours and I'm not a realy slow driver , so take some time for travelling. 50 - 60 kilometers/hour is a good average.
Have fun
